Joppa Fine Foods is owned and operated by Abbie Batchelder. A Newburyport native, Abbie's love of all things delicious and her career with Joppa started when she was hired as the General Manager the day before we opened in September of 2003. When approached with the offer to buy the store, Abbie took on the challenge with excitement and dove in head first. She loves trying new foods, new recipes and new artful flavor combinations. A food and wine enthusiast to the core, she actively seeks out new items for Joppa keeping things fresh and exciting for our customers and employees! If you don't find Abbie's shining face in Joppa you are likely to find her in her jewelry design studio or on the beach with her dog Niki!
